Turns a CSV with a date/count column into a dark GitHub-style contribution heatmap SVG - perfect for activity reports and year-in-review posts.
๐ฆ What's inside the download
csv2heatmap is separate; this is csv2chart: csv2chart.py + README.txt
โ๏ธ Requirements
- Python 3 (any recent version)
- No dependencies (stdlib only)
- No API keys needed
- Download the zip from the DF Vault.
- Unzip it anywhere on your computer.
- Open a terminal in that folder.
- Run the command shown under How to use.
python3 csv2chart.py data.csv --out chart.svg [--type bar|line] [--title T]
๐๏ธ Settings
None - it's a command-line tool; options are passed as flags (see usage).
๐งน Remove
Just delete the unzipped files - nothing is installed on your system.
