π What it does
Some conversations only happen when identity is off the table β health, money, mistakes, hot takes. DF Anonymous lets you switch it on per-forum: in the forums you choose, composers get a "Post anonymously" checkbox, and once posted their name, avatar, title and profile links are masked to everyoneβ¦ except staff and the author, who always see the real identity clearly flagged.
The real identity is stored in one tiny indexed table keyed by post ID β the checkbox itself is injected with JavaScript, so there are zero template edits. One settings page controls which forums allow it.

π οΈ Install β step by step
- Download the zip below (unlocks with your vault access).
- Upload inc/plugins/df_anonymous.php to your forum's inc/plugins/ folder.
- Admin CP β Configuration β Plugins β find DF Anonymous β Install & Activate.
- Admin CP β Configuration β Settings β DF Anonymous β enter the forum IDs where anonymous posting is allowed (e.g. 4,12,18) β Save.
- Done β composers in those forums see the πΆοΈ checkbox.
