PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 Closed Qualifier teams announced

The closed qualifiers will run from September 9-13, after the open qualifiers have come to an end.

B8 and IC will both be competing in the European CQ

PGL Masters Bucharest will return in 2026 from October 24-31, with $1,250,000 in prizes for the attending teams.
After the announcement was made regarding invites for the main event, with all of the top squads confirming their attendance except for Falcons, PGL has now revealed the teams invited to the closed qualifiers.

The confirmed teams at the tournament are:

First, however, will come the open qualifiers, as they have not yet been played and will run from September 3-6, with four spots up for grabs in the European, South American, and North American closed qualifiers, as well as two in each of the Asian and Oceanic qualifiers.
The closed qualifiers will follow on September 9-12 in Europe and the Americas, while Asian and Oceanic regional closed qualifiers will run on September 9-10 and conclude with one final APAC closed qualifier on September 13.

One team from each of the four closed qualifiers for Europe, North America, South America, and APAC, will earn their berth for the tournament in Romania.
