DF Read Time for phpBB — reading-time badge for topic titles
What it does
Adds a small "N min read (X words)" badge next to the topic title on viewtopic, so members know the commitment before they dive in.
Features
• Counts the first-post body at ~220 wpm
• Shows word count too
• Zero PHP - pure template + JS
• Auto-hides if there is no topic body
Install (2 minutes)
1. ACP -> Styles -> Templates -> overall_header.html
2. Paste the snippet just before </head>
3. Purge the cache
Get it
In the Vault: https://data-forums.com/misc.php?action=df_vault — unlock with 250 posts / 100 threads / 2,500 credits, or PM me.
