📡 Trend Radar Blueprint v1.0 — Never run out of thread ideas

Wave 16 drop · DF Vault exclusive · BLUEPRINTS.md (3 workflows + trigger map + setup) + README · 10-minute install

---

📖 What it does
The hardest day for any forum is the day you stare at a blank editor. Trend Radar fixes that permanently: three importable n8n workflows that scan the firehose (HN, Reddit, your own RSS feeds), score every story for relevance to YOUR niche with an AI judge, and hand you a daily digest of thread-worthy topics — plus a Topic Draft Machine that turns each story into a ready-to-post thread starter, and a Weekly Roundup variant for Mondays.

Import the JSON, connect any OpenAI-compatible model (a free local Ollama works), set your delivery channel, activate. Full trigger map and a 10-minute setup guide are inside.

✨ What's inside

• 3 importable n8n workflow skeletons (JSON inside BLUEPRINTS.md)

• Blueprint 1: Trend Radar — daily cron → RSS/HN/Reddit → dedupe → AI score (1-10) → keep ≥7 → digest

• Blueprint 2: Topic Draft Machine — each story becomes a title + opener + 2 discussion questions

• Blueprint 3: Weekly Roundup — Monday edition with a higher quality bar

• Dedupe via workflow static data — a story never repeats

• Complete trigger map: every node, its purpose, what to tune

• Works with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or a local Ollama endpoint

⚙️ Requirements

• n8n (self-hosted or cloud)

• An OpenAI-compatible API key — or a free local Ollama

🛠️ Install — step by step

1. Download the zip below (unlocks with your vault access).

2. Open BLUEPRINTS.md and copy the JSON for Blueprint 1.

3. In n8n: Workflows → Import from File/URL → paste the JSON.

4. Open the "AI score" node and connect your model credential.

5. Set your delivery channel in the last node (email / Discord webhook / forum PM).

6. Activate, then watch the first run under Executions. Tune the keep-threshold (≥7) to taste.

🧹 Uninstall
Delete the workflows in n8n — nothing touches your forum.
