DF Peek 2.0.0 — Repair wave 3 — Scoped staging checks passed
New versioned replacement; the 1.0 archive was not recovered. Passed 8 scoped staging checks: ACP install/activate, hover-preview JS injected on thread lists, JSON endpoint returns thread title/author/date/counts for a guest, snippet is first-post plain text with quote/code/BBCode stripped and markup-encoded, bad tid refused, hidden thread never leaks any data, hover opens the floating card in a real Chromium session, and uninstall removes the injection with zero state.

📖 What it does
Members hover any thread link on forumdisplay, search results or member thread lists and a smooth floating card appears: thread title, author, date, reply and view counts — plus a snippet of the first post. It's the fastest way to decide "is this worth a click?" without leaving the page.
Under the hood it's one indexed JSON endpoint (misc.php?action=df_peek) with a client-side cache, so every thread is fetched at most once per page view — and it's fully permission-safe: hidden threads and restricted forums never leak.

🛠️ Install — step by step
- Download the zip below (unlocks with your vault access).
- Upload inc/plugins/df_peek.php to your forum's inc/plugins/ folder.
- Admin CP → Configuration → Plugins → find DF Peek → Install & Activate.
- Done — hover any thread link to see it in action.
🧹 Uninstall
Admin CP → Plugins → DF Peek → Deactivate, then Uninstall. No tables, no templates, no leftovers.
