New versioned replacement; the 1.0 archive was not recovered. Passed 10 scoped staging checks: ACP install/activate, gift table with unique (member, year) key, index celebration strip lists today’s celebrant to guests with profile link and page link, full page shows the Today row with the turning age plus a +3-day member in the next-7-days, birthday field parsed in native d-m-Y forms with and without year, no DF Credits → gift skipped with no fatal and no rows, browser render of the strip, no birthdays → no strip, and uninstall drops the table.

📖 What it does
Birthdays are the cheapest goodwill a forum can buy. DF Birthdays adds a violet celebration strip to your index on any day a member has a birthday, a full community page listing today's celebrants plus the next 7 days (with ages when members share their birth year), and — when DF Credits is installed — an automatic once-per-year +25 credit gift that lands the moment the celebrant visits the board.
The gift is protected by a unique (member, year) key, so no one can ever double-claim a birthday gift. It's a tiny retention hug that members genuinely remember.

- Index strip on birthday days: 🎂 celebrant names linked to profiles
- Full page (misc.php?action=df_birthdays): today + the next 7 days
- Shows the age members are turning when their birth year is set
- Automatic once-per-year gift: +25 credits with DF Credits, duplicate-proof
- Reads MyBB's native birthday field — no profile changes needed
- Zero template edits, zero settings
⚙️ Requirements
- MyBB 1.8.x (tested on 1.8.40 · PHP 8.3)
- MySQL / MariaDB

🛠️ Install — step by step
- Download the zip below (unlocks with your vault access).
- Upload inc/plugins/df_birthdays.php to your forum's inc/plugins/ folder.
- Admin CP → Configuration → Plugins → find DF Birthdays → Install & Activate.
- Done — the index strip appears automatically on birthday days.
🧹 Uninstall
Admin CP → Plugins → DF Birthdays → Deactivate, then Uninstall. The gift table drops cleanly.
