It is easy to collect AI subscriptions and hard to know whether they create value. Review a simple monthly tracker: tool or project, cost, hours saved, revenue influenced, quality improvement, risks/issues, and keep/change/cancel.

Use conservative estimates. If a tool saves time once but is not reused, it may not deserve recurring cost. For side projects, track conversations, repeat use, and paid conversions—not just page views.

How do you decide an AI tool has earned a permanent place in your stack?
