Remember 2020–2022 when cloud gaming was supposed to "kill consoles" within 5 years? We're almost there, and obviously that didn't happen — but I'm surprised how little we talk about where cloud gaming *did* quietly find a foothold.

What I'm seeing anecdotally:
- **GeForce Now** is genuinely popular with the "I already own games on Steam, want to play on a laptop/weak PC/Shield" crowd. The 4080 tier is actually impressive if your connection holds up.
- **Xbox Cloud Gaming** is mostly used as a "try before you download" feature and for mobile/tablet play by Game Pass subscribers, not as a primary platform.
- **PS Cloud / PS Plus Premium** feels like an afterthought that Sony keeps quietly improving without marketing.
- **Boosteroid, AirGPU, Paperspace, etc.** serve a niche of people who want cloud rigs without long-term commitment.
- The big failure mode: **latency perception varies wildly** by person, game, and connection. It's fine for turn-based and slow games; borderline for competitive FPS/fighting games no matter what the PR says.

But the biggest sleeper use case I've noticed: **cloud as a demo platform.** Play a game for 15 minutes without a 80 GB download. *That* is legitimately great and I wish more platforms treated it that way.

Who here uses cloud gaming regularly, and for which kinds of games? Is it your primary way to play, a secondary option, or something you've basically abandoned?
