The trick is treating prompts like code:

1. Template it – fixed instructions + variables:
Code:
You are a {role}. Given {input}, produce {output}. Format: {format}.
2. Version it – prompt_v1, prompt_v2... so you can roll back when a "small tweak" breaks results.
3. Test it – keep 5–10 fixed inputs and check whether outputs improve or regress after every change.
4. Automate it – plug the template into n8n/Make behind a form or webhook, and the workflow runs without you.

Your best prompts deserve version control as much as your code does.

What prompt are you running on autopilot right now?
