π What it does
Members hover any thread link on forumdisplay, search results or member thread lists and a smooth floating card appears: thread title, author, date, reply and view counts β plus a snippet of the first post. It's the fastest way to decide "is this worth a click?" without leaving the page.
Under the hood it's one indexed JSON endpoint (misc.php?action=df_peek) with a client-side cache, so every thread is fetched at most once per page view β and it's fully permission-safe: hidden threads and restricted forums never leak.
