We're all in our mid-20s/30s. We have jobs. Nobody has 4 hours for a raid night anymore.

What multiplayer games actually work with a 30-60 minute session and a group of 3-5 friends who might not all show up?

My current rotation:
- Helldivers 2 (45 min drops, perfect)
- Lethal Company modded (quick, hilarious)
- Balatro co-op mod (yes really)
- League Arena mode when we're feeling masochistic

Would love more recs. No MMOs pls.

Lethal Company modded with friends is the funniest game of the last 5 years, no contest. Adding *Content Warning* and *Helldivers 2* to the list — drop-in drop-out is non-negotiable when friends have kids/jobs.

Also: *PlateUp!* if you want a couch co-op game that destroys friendships.
